Travel tips
As you probably know Travel to Israel can be a little challenging these days, so here are some tips:
Recommended Airlines
The following airlines never (or almost never) cancel flights to Israel:
- EL AL - Israel's national airline
- Israir, Arkia - Smaller Israeli operators
- Bluebird Airways - Based in Greece, but owned by an Israeli company
- TUS Airways - Based in Cyprus, but owned by an Israeli company
- Air Haifa - A new Israeli airline, lands in another airport (Haifa airport)
- flydubai - Based in Dubai, and also almost never cancels flights
From the low-cost operators, WizzAir is also quite reliable, they have cancelled in the past but mostly for just a few days.
Other airlines should be fine too - just note that in some cases they might cancel.
Coming from Europe/US
If you can't find a direct flight, you might check a connection via Athens (Greece) or Larnaca (Cyprus) - both destinations have multiple daily flights to Israel flown by the airlines above.
Coming from the East
If you can't find a direct flight, we recommend a connection via Dubai - it has at least 10 daily flights to Israel flown by the airlines above.
Visa Information - and new arrival procedures for Visa Exempt countries (ETA-IL)
All foreign passport holders must either get a Visa or an ETA-IL to enter Israel!
Citizens of the EU, US, UK, Ukraine, Canada, Russia, Australia/NZ, Japan, S.Korea and most of South American countries do not require a Visa to enter Israel (See detailed list here). However, you must issue an ETA-IL - this is a new procedure, similar to the US's ESTA - it is done online and costs a small fee.
If you do need a Visa, we can provide you with an invitation letter.
After purchasing your ticket please contact us and send us the following details:
- Your passport number
- Your full name, exactly as shown in your passport
- The passport's country of issue
